In this position, you will lead a team of analysts within our Sales Operation organization supporting a corporate national account sales teams with responsibilities for the analysis, development, performance reporting and trend analysis of customer contracts with targeted Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Government accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the corporate national accounts sales team by providing pre-contract sensitivity analysis, including price and revenue modeling, profitability and revenue risk exposure, and manage pricing approval process via the revenue management system and business unit guidelines
- Develop, interpret and disseminate contract specific performance reporting and trend analysis to the sales organization in a timely manner, leveraging the reporting available through the revenue management system and producing customized contract reporting as required
- Support the sales organization’s requirements in the development of RFP/contract responses, including customer facing material, and coordination of the contract document requirements
- Monitor and track contract compliance, provide the sales organization with compliance reporting and conduct compliance analysis as required
- Manage administrative fee accruals, optimizing the ratio of contract accruals to settlements
- Provide necessary sales and contract reporting and business analytics to the sales organization, external customers, and other key stakeholders
- Implement the revenue management system tools as defined in the corporate sales operations process, providing the sales management organization with the necessary information to make quality business decisions, optimize revenue management and ensure post contract contracting reporting and compliance measurement.
- Support the sales field teams and where required, provide direct customer interaction to insure effective contract execution
- Coordinate with the other Managers of Contracting Operations to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle, consistent process execution and unified approaches throughout Boston Scientific.
- Champion critical Sales Operations process initiatives designed to increase productivity, customer satisfaction and quality, while decreasing process cycle time, overall cost and business risk.
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies to work effectively in a sales organization and lead a team of high-performing analysts. During peak demands, individual must possess the ability contribute to business requirements as well as lead the analyst team. This candidate must be highly detailed oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have extensive experience in implementing and leveraging IT solutions. Prior experience in supporting the sales organization’s analytical requests and requirements is vital. Firm understanding of Boston Scientific product portfolio and sales structure are also critical. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Cognos Powerplay, and contract management systems required. Past experience should include 6-8 years in Accounting/Finance, Sales Operations, and Contract Management functions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
